Annual Events

Inland Empire Delta Gamma is excited to always bring new and innovative programming to our sisters each new year, however we also enjoy a select few annual favorites. 

Cookies & Cocktails

Usually scheduled on one of the first two Sundays of December, Cookies & Cocktails is one of the most well-attended events of the year. Sisters are encouraged to bring a friend and a plate of your favorite cookies or holiday treat (or spirit) and enjoy an afternoon/evening of sisterhood. 

 

Founders Day

Delta Gamma was founded by Anna Boyd Ellington, Eva Webb Dodd and Mary Comfort Leonard on December 25, 1873, in Oxford, Mississippi, at The Lewis School for Girls near the University of Mississippi. Founders Day is celebrated each year on or around March 15. The Inland Empire Delta Gamma Alumnae partner with Zeta Lambda Chapter, UC Riverside for a Sunday Brunch to celebrate these three women and the ritual that bonds us all together.

 

Senior Bridging

Each spring, IE DG alumnae meets to transition a new group of pending Delta Gamma graduates to alumnae status with the Senior Recommitment Ceremony of Delta Gamma.
