IE DG Achieves Chapter Status
June 2020
On June 30, 2020, Inland Empire alumnae learned that Delta Gamma Executive Offices had approved their application to promote to Chapter status which means that we have voting privileges at Delta Gamma Convention.
To qualify for chapter status, alumnae groups must have a minimum of 20 per capita dues-paying alumnae, hold six full membership events, and have a minimum of 5 elected officers during each fiscal year.
We are looking forward to this new adventure with all of you!
Cable, Oxford Award Recipients Announced
March 2020
The Inland Empire Alumnae Association was pleased to announce at the 2020 Founders Day Brunch the recipients of four Fraternity Awards. Susan Anderson (Delta Pi), Jennifer Grantham (Zeta Lambda), and Kelly Delaney McAllister (Zeta Lambda) receive the Cable Award. The Cable Award is presented by the Fraternity to recognize alumnae for personal devotion and continued service to the Fraternity. This Award is reserved for the alumna who, through her years of serving Delta Gamma, has evidenced unusual loyalty and devotion far beyond normal alumnae participation.
Kelly Fritts (Epsilon Sigma) received the Oxford Award. The Oxford Award recognizes alumnae who exemplify the Delta Gamma philosophy of community service through volunteer and philanthropic activities. Recipients bring a sense of pride to their alumnae groups through outstanding community efforts and involvement. Kelly was also the recipient of the Inland Empire's Valley of Hope Award. The Valley of Hope Award was established in 2019 by the Inland Empire Alumnae Association as a way to honor sisters who are inspiring to others - by their words, their actions, or their strength.

Inland Empire Delta Gamma One Step Closer to Chapter Status

The Inland Empire Delta Gamma Alumnae association is one step closer to achieving chapter status by reaching the milestone of 20 local dues paying members in one fiscal year. To qualify for chapter status, alumnae groups must have a minimum of 20 per capita dues-paying alumnae, hold six full membership events, and have a minimum of 5 elected officers during each fiscal year.
This group currently has 50 per capita dues-paying alumnae and is meeting all other requirements. We plan to apply for Chapter status soon. Thank you for your support.

Destination Independence: DG's Walk in Support of Blind Childrens' Learning Center

Santa Ana, CA - Inland Empire Delta Gamma alumnae joined several other alumnae chapters from Orange County including North Orange County and Newport Coast-South Orange County, to raise funds to benefit the Blind Childrens' Center. The ITB Delta Gamma team raised over $2,600 for the cause. The event included a 5K walk, zumba, petting zoo, and other childrens' activities and sensory play. Overall, the event raised over $114,000 for the center. We were proud to take part in this event and support our sisters in Orange County. Officers from each group were present and made plans to join us again soon.
Senior Recommitment Ceremony Held

Riverside, CA - The Inland Empire Delta Gamma Alumnae Association welcomed seniors from Zeta Lambda Chapter of Delta Gamma, UC Riverside, into the bonds of alumnae sisterhood on May 11th. The columnae event proved to be a great event for alumnae and pending graduates to network, form bonds, and learn about what life is like after college. This marked the third consecutive year that the Inland Empire Alumnae Association has shared in this ritual with UC Riverside Chapter members.
2016/2017 Officers Installed

Riverside, CA - On April 26, 2016, three new Inland Empire Alumnae Association officers were sworn into their new positions by Delta Gamma Fraternity Vice President of Alumnae Christine Rocchio with Marlene Mourtzikos, Regional Foundation Coordinator, and Cheri Lall Wechsler, Regional Director, in attendance.
The six met at the Cheesecake Factory in Riverside to discuss plans to continue the revitalization process of the Association. The informal meeting sparked great ideas and new enthusiasm for the future of the group.
